See Yourself Become - A Foundation, Inc. was born of the desire of one woman's tribute to her mother, Sharon Y Bell.  After a lifetime of alcohol and drug abuse, Ms. Bell Gowens' mother finally started down a path to reach her dreams of a career in nursing only to die before obtaining the final success.  However, the journey of her mother created a series of lessons in the nature of true character and spirit--lessons that serve as examples for others who have faced similar obstacles in life, but with a little help and nurturing they too can overcome.

Our mission as the organization See Yourself Become - A Foundation, Inc. is to serve, educate and empower individuals to realize their full self worth working from within. Our core principles are Self-Empowerment, Education, Financial Planning, Homeownership, and Family Unity. These principles lead to a purposeful living life. SYB will raise money to change the lives of people who have not been successful in pursuing life's opportunities. SYB will provide scholarships and grants for education for those in need of rebuilding there lives. We will work with families, youth, and young adults. This foundation was born to make a difference in someone's life when the odds were stacked against him or her.  We truly believe that SYB is going to support and nurture true believers of faith. The recipients will definitely reform themselves by choice, not by chance.
